Our Stained-Glass Window
We worship in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Chapel. The towering stained-glass window that fronts our sanctuary
is the largest continuous stained glass window in
Hawai'i. It depicts the inclusiveness of the Christian faith
with a picture of Christ standing in the midst of the
world's diversity of cultures, religions,
and races. It also
tells the story of the heroism of our nation's armed forces
in preserving our
nation's
freedom. The window was
designed by John Wallis of the Wallis-Wiley Studio in
Pasadena, California.
Our Church's Outreach Ministry
Our Outreach Ministry includes partnership with the Kama'aina Kids preschool, which the church began in 1966. It is currently operated by a private firm. We also work in cooperation with the Moanalua Community Services and the Bread Ministry, both launched in 1999.
